Side note: We might want to make these CI changes to the common-config repo so we can propagate them across the entire org. I can look into that this week. |

For CI changes, I might suggest using something like Pkl to set em up, and then you can just generate ones for each repo with the appropriate settings changed https://github.com/stefma/pkl-gha I've done this for a few of my own projects, like here, and it does seem to reduce the burden of a bunch of Yaml stuff. Pkl isn't for everyone, however |
