- the "quarkus.qute.alt-expr-syntax" config property is only applied to app templates located in all template roots of the root app archive, e.g. src/main/resources/templates - extensions that produce templates not backed by a file via TemplatePathBuildItem could specify the syntax in the build item - for any other archive that provides templates: the template root may contain a special config file named ".qute" that could contain "alt-expr-syntax=true" if the alternative syntax should be used in all templates from this specific template root in the archive
