    3. Cultures of Knowledge in transition

      Early Modern Letters Online as an experiment in collaboration, 2009-2018] A very good overview of the to the project and it's journey since 2009 to 2018.

  2. We got a request to create a project proposal to upgrade the different parts of the EMLO systems. This is the project proposal we had put together.

  3. Phase 1 of EMLO work was to

    • Write a specification for EMLO Edit
    • Write a specification for EMLO front
    • Remwrite EMLO edit uploader library and integrate it with the current interface.
    • UI design for EMLO edit and EMLO front.

    The outcome from phase 1 are the following:

    1. EMLO edit features and specification

      Document listing the features and specifications required for an upgraded EMLO edit. This document is a work in progress. The features are mostly based on the current EMLO Edit interface and is the base for developing EMLO Edit v2.

    2. EMLO front features and specification

      Document listing the features and specifications required for an upgraded EMLO user interface. This document is a work in progress. The features are mostly based on the current EMLO user interface and the desired improvements from Howard and Miranda detailed in this document.

    3. Uploader library

      The code for this is located at https://github.com/J4bbi/emlo_uploader

    4. UI design

      We are yet to get a finalised design from Sophy.

  4. Phase 2 of the EMLO work is to upgrade EMLO edit, based on the EMLO edit features and specification document.

    The aim is to create an editorial interface in Django.

    There is a project board where the work is assigned and progress is monitored

    The wiki page EMLO edit development progress tracks project progress using Gantt charts.
    The Gantt charts will be updated every two weeks, following progress from our sprint.
