A number of new features have been added along with more flexibility for existing features and bug fixes.

New features include:

• Add pilcrows (¶) at the start of paragraphs.
• A simple interface for adding non-canonical headings.
• Option to place the reference at the start of the quotation.
• Option to set chapters in a paragraph of their own.
• Option to make each verse begin a new paragraph.

v2.0

Changes for version 2.0:

The most significant change for version 2.0 is switching the scripture environment to always use a LaTeX list environment. This improves reliability within other lists, as well as vertical and horizontal spacing. There may be some minor difference in behaviour due to this change.

There's also a new style option which can be used to apply a previously defined set of options to a scripture quotation.
