This comes with a slew of breaking changes:

execTask has been removed in favor of exec learning the new signal and killSignal options - [Breaking] Allow aborting exec, remove execTask #590
The GitProcess static class has been broken down into individually exported functions and removed - Remove GitProcess in favor of individually exported functions #591
The new default for maxBuffer is Infinity - Don't limit the output from exec #596
