Summary

  • build Windows ARM64 wheels on the native windows-11-arm runner
  • target aarch64-pc-windows-msvc with the runner's native Clang toolchain
  • build wheels for CPython 3.11, 3.12, 3.13, 3.14, and free-threaded 3.14
  • publish the resulting artifact through the existing wheels-* release path

Validation

  • actionlint .github/workflows/build_wheels.yml
  • hosted dry-run Windows ARM64 job: passed on windows-11-arm for the complete interpreter matrix
  • locally built outlines_core-0.2.14-cp313-cp313-win_arm64.whl
  • verified the extension uses PE machine 0xAA64
  • installed the wheel outside the source checkout and ran python -m pytest --cov=outlines_core -vv: 45 passed, 2 skipped

Local validation used native CPython 3.13 ARM64, Rust aarch64-pc-windows-msvc, LLVM Clang ARM64, and MSVC ARM64. The hosted Windows ARM64 job validated wheel builds for CPython 3.11 through 3.14, including free-threaded 3.14. No package has been published by this PR.

Hi @RobinPicard , I'm from Microsoft and recently I'm working on improving Python ecosystem support for Windows on Arm.
So I adds CI support for Windows ARM64. Could you please help to review? Thanks.
