HAL900 is an electronic access control system developed for the OSAA hackerspace in Aarhus, Denmark.

There are two major parts of the system:

  • The DoorController which is a piece of hardware that can interface with the door hardware, like RFID readers, keypads, motors, solenoids and sensors.
  • The WebApplication, commonly known as HAL900, which allows members to create memberships, choose subscription level and checks their account balance.
