Release v2.12: DevSecOps Audit Engine Hotfix
SysWarden v2.12 delivers a critical logic correction to the syswarden-audit.sh compliance tool to ensure accurate state reporting and scoring mechanisms.
Technical Corrections
- Audit Scoring Accuracy: Fixed a double-incrementation bug affecting the global validation counter within Phase 3 (Kernel Shield & Threat Intelligence) and Phase 8 (Enterprise SOC & HA Integration).
- Variable Handling Optimization: Removed redundant manual variable increments. The native helper functions now exclusively manage score incrementation, preventing mathematical drift during the compliance scan.
- False Positive Resolution: Addressed an issue where fully compliant DevSecOps environments reported mathematically impossible failure rates (e.g., 30/31 passes). A 100% compliance state now accurately registers as a complete pass.
Implementation
This release strictly patches the reporting logic of the audit module. The core SysWarden firewall engine, Layer 7 application defenses, and telemetry services remain unaffected and highly stable.
Administrators are encouraged to update their local scripts via the standard upgrade command to ensure their compliance reports remain perfectly calibrated.
