This link seems to 404 for me when i go to it in a browser. Not sure what the mapped_pages section does or if this will exist in the future?

This functionality lets users who land on our 9.x docs navigate to earlier 8.x doc versions. This topic was added post-migration, and might be an exception. I'll check it out.

Thanks for the opportunity to explain and think things through, @donoghuc.

There's an order-of-operation thing going on wrt the redirect, which is still pending. The content is the same for 9.x and 8.x, so the mapped_page isn't really necessary.
