The kfac file must be written in the same order as the rapid_connect file. The current sorting method is prohibitively slow on large river networks. Directly reindexing the flowline GeoDataFrame based on the connectivity order is faster, and the length and slope arrays can then be read directly from the newly reindexed GeoDataFrame.
