A simple configuration for a fully blurred Firefox window and homepage (only tested on Windows 11).
The configuration works with MicaForEveryone and DWMBlurGlass.
Works on the Nightly and Stable build of Firefox. (Looks best on Nightly, on Stable currently the active tab is not transparent.)
- Make sure that the Firefox theme is set to System theme - auto.
- Enter
about:configin the search bar and set the following totrue:
- widget.windows.mica
- toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets
- browser.tabs.allow_transparent_browser
- Download the
userChrome.cssanduserContent.cssfiles in the repository. - Enter
about:supportin the search bar. Under Profile Folder, click the button to Open Folder. - Go to the
chromefolder OR create achromefolder if there's none. Then put theuserChrome.cssanduserContent.cssfiles in thechromefolder.
That's all there's to it. Enjoy!
