This is an example that I explored for the optical meeting.
Unfortunately it is pretty hard to compare exactly with paper results, because many parameters are not provided.

Spell Check Report

SiliconOrganicHybrid.ipynb:

Cell 1, Line 1: 'Co-Simulation'
  > # Silicon–Organic Hybrid Slot Electro-Optic Modulator: RF–Optical Co-Simulation and Vπ·L Extraction
Cell 1, Line 5: 'Pockels'
  > We build a full cross-section of a ground–signal–ground (GSG) transmission line integrated with a silicon slot waveguide filled with an organic electro-optic material. The RF field from the electrodes modulates the refractive index in the slot through the Pockels effect, which in turn changes the optical effective index.
Cell 1, Line 7: 'voltage-dependent'
  > Finally, we compute the electro-optic response and extract the Vπ·L figure of merit from the voltage-dependent change in effective index.
Cell 1, Line 17: 'Pockels-induced'
  > [4)](#4) Use the RF field to compute the Pockels-induced refractive index perturbation in the organic material, solve the optical modes of the perturbed waveguide, and extract Vπ·L from the change in optical effective index versus voltage.
Cell 35, Line 3: 'Pockels'
  > Now that we have the optical simulation and the RF fields, we can perturb the optical simulation by considering the Pockels effect.
Cell 35, Line 5: 'Pockels'
  > We first normalize the RF fields by the voltage, use the formula for the Pockels effect

This is an awesome notebook @FilipeFcp ! Excellent organization and flow (I also liked the summary of workflow at the top). Just a few variables that are defined but I don't think are used:

Importing pandas
fwidth
clad_gap
sio2_metal_gap
pad_x, pad_y, pad_z

Very nice addition @FilipeFcp . All looks great. Could you get rid of the warning in the tidy3d import by removing the legacy config file?
