I've mainly streamlined the content and updated slides for clarity and an improved student experience.

General Improvements:

  • Fragmented slides for easier-to-digest content
  • Added various code blocks to guide students during "Let's Develop It!" activities
  • Improved examples by replacing filler content with more realistic and concrete examples
  • Ensured consistent code styling
  • Removed niche or outlier content
  • Included breaks

Class 1

  • Included explanation of how a browser works
  • Segmented Head & Body content to allow students to code along

Class 2

  • Included ample examples and quiz-like slides about classes, ids, and the cascade
  • Added emphasis on "googling" as an important developer skill

Class 3

  • Altered the beginning quiz to be more challenging and relevant
  • Included ample examples about inline and block element behavior
  • Added new content regarding code readability
  • Improved the semantic HTML5 elements to include explanation of when to use each
  • Included ample examples about the box model and significantly shortened the remainder of the box model section
  • Removed the following content: span, psuedo-classes, wrappers, width, and height.

Class 4

  • Added a quiz at the start (for consistency between classes)
  • Included optional review section covering classes, ids, divs, and semantic HTML5
  • Included ample examples about relative and absolute positioning
  • Included ample examples about float
  • Added new content regarding wireframing
  • Added new content dedicating time for students to work on their websites
  • Removed the following content: Z-index

Line 135 set color: purple but the example immediately following it had the color in green
just 'cause we're fighting the stereotype that you have to be a "super nerd" to get involved in code development
Italics and bold should be styles set by css, emphasis and importance set by em and strong
