Understand how the interns are impacted by TWEs Recruitment Process, Post Recruitment phase (includes all messaging & scheduling) and Expectations of the internship. To create a model that shows the range of experience that potential interns have before they apply to the internship including: exposure to prior Mentoring programs, confidence in their ability and future goal achievement, what high school and other support structures they have in preparation for College and their demographic profiles.
- Interns
Interviews conducted over Zoom that include a range of qualitative and quantitative questions. They were video recorded and transcribed, as well as recorded in a Google Sheets questionnaire.
We received parental consent from the following underage interns:

- Intern #4
- Intern #5
- Intern #9
- Intern #10
All other interns were 18 years of age or older and provided informed consent to being interviewed and recorded.
Currently, the analysis is on hold until we reorganize the wiki pages and collect data on the HfLA team volunteers who interacted with the interns.
