Python 3.7 EOL:
Active Support ended 5 years ago (27 Jun 2020)
Security Support ended 2 years and 3 months ago (27 Jun 2023)

In addition, linter Ruff reports errors regarding the use of the ':=' operator:

__init__.py:273:12: SyntaxError: Cannot use named assignment expression (`:=`) on Python 3.7 (syntax was added in Python 3.8)

@shamilbi please see #40 . I think ido was opposed to this change and we probably should discuss further in #40 .
