Trak (hipper version of 'track') is an opensource multiplatform app which helps (Soon™) to track food, sports, and even your period.
Furthermore, there should be the possibility to do this tracking with your friends to push each other.
- Create a VIP
- Multiplatform (Web, Desktop, Android, (IOS maybe, sorry apple friends))
- Nutrition Tracker
- Sports Tracker
- PT3000 (Even tough this is probably the project I am most excited about in my life so far, I am very aware that it is also likely to be the most challenging.)
- "Trak period" (Even tough I would love to include it in the VIP section, I believe that this area requires significantly more research and knowledge than I have.)
- "Trak together" (Best case scenario I implement all the other features/trackers In a way which will allow me to easily adopt the together feature (It will probably take a few rewrites :D))
- Create an opensource, free to use, state-of-the-art tracking app
- Only store and process required data of users
- Well documentate the whole thing (scary!!!)
- Create a tracking device (pt3000) which is easy and cheap to build yourself
- Integrate LLMs in a modern smart way to make experience better for users
- (get rid of all the "Even tough" in this file)
- Save "unimportant" data
- Jump on the AI Train and put it in every corner of the app
How can you contribute to this project (If you want obviously)?
- Download the apps and try them yourself (maybe even enable the statistics :D) and report stuff
- Take a look at the todos / open prs und do some hacking on your own, I would love some contributors
- Feel free to contact me about any Ideas you have
- Spread the project and the idea :)
I've never really had a connection to full stack. That's about to change, and I also want to try using all kinds of business software stuff to gain experience. Plus, I hate paying for apps, which includes period trackers (even tough I don't need I'm not aware of an actual good free period tracker) and nutrition trackers.
