Hey,
I have added a serial output option for MAME,
to allow people to easily integrate real-world ticket dispense / coin hopper pulsing out of MAME games, the way they were meant to be given.
I've seen that most of the redemption games already uses MAME's
ticket.cpp
ticket/coin dispense emu, so why not bring this information out as an event, to allow the community to develop integration for their hardware and enjoy the full end-to-end arcade experience, instead of just supporting the payment part (coin acceptor) integration? Seems like no one had ever done that before not in the repo and not in the world wide web!Feel free to recommend on any extra changes and I'll adjust the PR accordingly.
Best Regards!
