This addresses issue #38 and makes it possible to run dothub as a cron job or as part of a CI pipeline without having to use yes.

For the record: unit tests on a clean clone of the upstream repo failed for me, that is why I haven't been able to add more tests to validate my changes.

You should not have any the issue you had with git anymore after #55
