A query of available STM32F4 chips from www.digikey.com was performed. After restricting the list of devices to those that had the peripherals desired; we were able to narrow the selection down to 3 devices in the STM32F407Ixxx chip set.

- Higher value indicates desired quality |
Ultimately the GT6 was selected because it had more memory than the ET6. The cost savings of the ET6 was not enough to justify its lower memory size.
