What's Changed

• More gracefully handle a variety of errors, producing messages in the browser console instead of more extreme behavior (log out, prevention of login, "Something went wrong", etc.)

• Import will now fail (with a console warning) if there's a server-side error in any of the new students

What's Changed

• Tabs via URLs or Codes:
  • Users may now create new Pyret or Desmos Activity tabs, in either a room or a template, based on published Pyret code (via URLs) or Desmos URL/activity codes.
  • In the Template Editor, the source URL/code for a tab may be updated
• Replayer fixes: Replayer now works even if the room has multiple types of the same mathspace (Pyret and Desmos Activities were especially problematic before). Note that fast replay and scrubbing can sometimes get out of sync.
• Dashboard improvements:
  • All searches are a lot faster.
  • Searches no longer show stale results
  • "Last login" is now reported for users.
  • In Room search, the search results now include the names of users who produced events in those rooms during the requested timeframe.
• Pyret updates:
  • When a user is not in control, the "Run" and "Stop" buttons are not shown. However, the user can still change the font size and other display-specifics aspects of the Pyret window.
  • From any point in the Replay of a Pyret room, a user can create a Template based on that room at that point.
• Admin access: Allow access to non-member Courses by admins
• Other changes:
  • Removed outdated maintenance window popup. Corrected errors on homepage message.
  • Cleaned up code to match best practices. In particular, reduced local storage of rooms to speed up system overall.

What's Changed

• Brand new monitors! All three monitors show only rooms that have been updated in the past 48 hours. They each have a refresh button to find newly active rooms, simplified sort (only Name and Last Updated), and allow you to select a subset of the active rooms to view. The three monitors are:
  • Admin Monitor. Available only to admins on the top navigation bar. It shows recently active rooms throughout VMT.
  • Course Monitor. Shows recently active rooms within a course for which the user is a facilitator.
  • MyVMT Monitor. Shows recently active rooms among all the rooms where the user is a facilitator.
• Other changes:
  • Updated the 21PSTEM postal address on the website.
  • Various fixes to autologout.
