### Password Policy

With the **Password Policy** setting, you can set the password expiration policy for all company members. If you do not want the passwords to expire, toggle **Passwords of company members never expire** to **On**.
The Mendix Platform enforces a 90-day password validity period for all platform passwords used to sign in to the Mendix Platform or Studio Pro.
If Mendix Admins set up an SSO (BYOIDP), the organization's IdP manages all sign-ins and passwords. In this case, the Mendix Platform's password validity policy no longer applies.

The Mendix Platform no longer allows you to configure a password validity period other than 90 days or to disable password expiry. This capability will be removed on March 31, 2026. For more details, [see](blogpost link).
