I am sorry that you spent your time on this. I should already have mentioned somewhere that this library is unmaintained, in favor of another library that does more: https://github.com/novapost/workalendar Thank you anyway for the code. If you don't like workalendar for any reason, I'll be glad to give you control of the "holiday" library if you wish to become the maintainer. |

It doesn't contain city specific holidays, but they are very rare in Germany.
