Sayre's Law helps illustrate the mis-match between "the amount of passion associated with an issue" and the "importance of said issue". But I have a hard time figuring out where to put it. I placed it right underneath the bullet point about vivid stories, and treated it as a quote with some elaboration of context.
Even though Sayre's Law was coined to explain academic politics, it seems more broadly applicable to any issue where there is more emotion than dry facts.
