This adds a bunch of utility manager function on a few important tables (to us) -- users, events, userfields, which makes querying and adding queries a lot easier.
Happy to add documentation if you think it's appropriate.
This also adds several 'nicer' api libraries inside a api/ directory which is a little less raw and explicit -- a couple of them also handle somewhat the challenge of create vs. update.
