What I Do

I leverage remote sensing, GIS, and data science to translate complex data into clear insight about how our world changes. I believe understanding patterns through time gives people the power to see beyond the moment and shape a more intentional world.

  • Understanding the role of Conservation Reserve Program lands in wildfire risk in the Great Plains.
  • Examining large wildfire regimes across the United States' Great Plains and Eastern Temperate Forests.
  • Assessing large wildfire damage and destruction to structures.
  • Curating the United States Census TIGER Roads spatial datasets in Google Earth Engine.
  • Building geospatial data products that support decision-making for conservation partners and agencies.
  • Creating user-friendly tools that allow the public to engage with science.
