Hello, and thank you for your interest in contributing to the otwarchive project!

You are very welcome to submit drive-by pull requests for the AO3 software. In addition to our Contributing Guidelines, you can find our Commit Policy and Coding Standards on this wiki. Please note that we have a backlog of approved issues and verified bugs in our AO3 project on Jira and fixes for these will be given priority over pull requests for features which are not on our roadmap.

We recommend using our Docker development environment or Gitpod to work on the Archive, but we also provide instructions for installing the otwarchive software on the OS of your choice:

• Set up the Archive on macOS using Homebrew
• Set up the Archive on Linux

We also offer web-based development environments to official OTW volunteers. Open positions will be listed on the Volunteer page at the Organization for Transformative Works' website.
