Before downloading, make sure your system meets these basic requirements:

Follow these steps to install and run Whispr:

  1. Download the Application

    • Go to the Releases page and select the latest version of Whispr.
    • Choose the appropriate file for your operating system and download it.
  2. Extract the Files

    • Once the download completes, locate the ZIP file in your downloads folder.
    • Right-click the file and select "Extract All" to unpack the contents.
  3. Open the Terminal or Command Prompt

    • For Windows: Press Windows + R, type cmd, and hit Enter.
    • For macOS: Open Terminal from Applications.
    • For Linux: Open your terminal from the applications menu.
  4. Navigate to the Extracted Folder

    • Use the cd command to change the directory to the folder where you extracted Whispr. For example:
      cd path/to/Whispr
      
  5. Install Dependencies

    • Run the following command to install all necessary packages:
      npm install
      
  6. Run the Application

    • Start the server by entering:
      npm start
      
    • Open your web browser and go to http://localhost:3000 to access Whispr.
