We will use a microcontroller(basically arduino uno/ nano) to tackle this problem . Contrary to the common practice of installing a single tubewell tank , we opt for using two tanks in the fields . This will be used in conjunction with sensors(broadly Temperature sensor, water level sensor, moisture sensor that would help to predict the excess water level, moisture and also the temperature of the surroundings will also be taken in consideration. As soon as the water level and moisture level crosses the adequate level/amount required for that particular crop , the pipe connector would move itself transferring the water to the second tank thus saving water wastage and also saving crop from over irrigation. Recently A competition was held namely ACM Commute 2018 at Chitkara University , Chandigarh ,my poster got selected in top 23 posters out of 100 posters .
