This is a placeholder for actual CAESAR documentation that will be written some day.
Things that need to be included:
- Explanation of raw data format
- Information on units used in the code for various quantities (e.g. positions)
- Explanation of Addback routine with explanation of
- Doppler correction explained
- General information on array (number of detectors, expected efficiency/resolutions, etc.)
- Sample outline of an analysis for Coulex for an S800/CAESAR experiment
- Samples of .cal/.val files and MakeHistos sample Things to Include in Analysis Outline:
- CRDC Mask Calibration and run-by-run Y-Drift Correction
- Time of flight correction for angle and position in the focal plane
- Energy Calibration with Sources
- Doppler Correction analysis to determine optimal beta, z-shift values
- Creation of cuts: PID (corrected tof vs. ic energy loss), in-beam (tof vs. tof), gamma time-energydc cut
