Quick start

Download HFS, unzip, and double click the "hfs" file inside

the administration page automatically shows up
The Admin-panel doesn't need you to login (by default) because you are on the server computer (localhost)

select what files and folders you want to make accessible. In "Shared files", click "Add" and "from disk"

Now you can access those files from a phone or another computer just using a browser. The address you should use depends.
If you are accessing inside a local network, you can use the address you see in the "Link" field (like in the previous screenshot).
If you are on the internet, click the "Internet" page, and click "Verify" to ensure you are ready. If something is wrong, you'll receive some advice on how to act.
