The repo already contains a template for cloudflare workers. For people interested in deploying to to pages instead, this is the template.

Pages offers better dev experience in terms of CI/CD, being able to connect your GitHub account with it and generally better suited for web applications.

As I understand it, Cloudflare is merging Pages and Workers, so I'm less inclined for us to support Pages: https://blog.cloudflare.com/pages-and-workers-are-converging-into-one-experience/

Let me know if I'm misunderstanding something

@brookslybrand I'm new to using Cloudflare to deploy, but that blog post is from 2023-05-17 and the UI and documentation still very much seems like they're different things.

@jaredcat yeah, that probably wasn't the best resource to link.

I'm with you that the UI and documentation is a bit confusing. I think this is a long effort. This page I think paints the picture better, and shows which features exactly are in one but not the other.

I believe there plan is still to do away with Pages eventually:

We plan to bridge the gaps between Workers and Pages and provide ways to migrate your Pages projects to Workers.
