the dev-kit replaces the example/ directory of https://github.com/remotestorage/remotestorage.js and is meant to be the place where new developers get started.

its development was prompted by the first-use experience of several participants in http://lanyrd.com/2013/unhostedpdx/ who spent the first 4 hours of the hackathon trying to set up their development environment with one remoteStorage server and one remoteStorage-based unhosted web app. With this dev kit, that should now take 4 minutes instead of 4 hours.
