The KettleLog team is currently still trying to find an efficient way to deploy our application as an .exe and .dmg file.
For the time being, KettleLog can be run by completing the following steps:
- Click on the green "Clone or Download" button, and select "Download ZIP."
- Navigate to the project folder with a simple cd command.
cd path-to-project
Windows
- Run the following three commands in order to open KettleLog. We are considering writing a quick shell script to help make this process easier!
del *.class
javac --module-path /path-to-project/Kettlelog/jfxwin/lib --add-modules javafx.controls Kettlelog.java
java --module-path /path-to-project/Kettlelog/jfxwin/lib --add-modules javafx.controls Kettlelog
MacOS
- Navigate to the project's 'bin' folder by using the following command:
cd path-to-project/Kettlelog/bin
- Run our bash script and KettleLog should open immediately!
sh boil.sh
