The first couple of commits for the feature/cpp branch, so this can be reviewed in smaller chunks. The goal for this PR is just to be compilable as a C++ library, not to necessarily be 'good' c++ code yet. I've also dropped a few of the files that are entirely unused in the Fenix code.
