The reason why SPC (SA-MP Programming Community) decided to develop new installers for SA:MP lies in the fact that the original installers are no longer officially maintained, as the official websites are no longer operational. In this context, the original installers are now provided by third-party intermediaries, which poses a substantial risk of compromising the integrity of the .exe executable due to the potential injection of malicious code.

To maximize security and offer a reliable alternative to the community, SPC took the initiative to create new installers under an Open Source model. This approach not only ensures greater transparency but also allows users, if they do not trust the precompiled version provided, to download the source code of the desired version and compile it themselves.

This measure reinforces SPC's commitment to user protection and the preservation of reliability within the SA:MP environment while promoting a culture of security and technological autonomy.

The following versions can be accused of viruses due to SA:MP files, according to VirusTotal:

Client - DL R1
Client - R3
Client - R3 Voip
Client - R4
Client - R5

But don't worry, they don't affect anything.
