I'm the lead developer of AccessKit, a project to provide reusable UI accessibility infrastructure across platforms and programming languages. Accessibility is important to me because I'm visually impaired myself, and some of my best friends are blind. AccessKit is gaining momentum, and additional funding from GitHub Sponsors will let me spend more of my time developing this project to its full potential.
