Bad request error (416) when requesting LD information.

Hello I am trying to use the locuszoom.js library with tabix sources. When I try to request LD, locuszoom sends a request with a range that is more than the size of the file and I get a 416 error. I followed the instructions in https://statgen.github.io/locuszoom/examples/ext/tabix_tracks.html?chrom=16&start=53609247&end=54009247, in order to prepare plink LD files. Is there a way I can change the range?

It's relatively rare to see problems, but when I have, they were usually either:

• Slight variations in the specified format matter (tabix isn't always very good at warning about certain edge cases, like indexing the wrong column by accident)
• In the past I've suspected that there were rare bugs in the tabix reader that could cause it to call the wrong chunks of data- particularly if the file being indexed is extremely small. (like definitely under one 64kb chunk)

Unfortunately, I moved on from the LZ team several years ago, and can't provide official help/support. It's worth looking around to see if there are any modern, pure client-side JS libraries that can read tabix files. As more tools are moving to be webapps, I suspect there will be newer tabix readers with more active development and unit tests. (when we wrote this demo, it was a niche feature for the time, and our options were limited)

In theory, LZ can be adapted to fetch data from anywhere, and you could write a custom data adapter that wrapped that library in your case. The existing adapter source code (in this repo) would provide you the examples you need to get started.
