0.1.0
Hello! This is the first stable release of this tiny game called Guess My RGB. The game is available as a single HTML page that runs in a web browser. It presents a page with a randomly chosen background color. The player then needs to guess the three RGB hexademical digits that make the given background color.
Although this game is very new, someone with the handle talonx
shared this game on Hacker News (HN) on the very same day I published its initial source code here on GitHub. I presume they learnt about this game from the RSS feed of my website at https://susam.net/feed.xml. Soon after their HN post reached the front page, this game received 95467 hits on 31 Mar 2024. It received another 70635 hits the next two days. See https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=39882018 for the discussions about this game. Most of the comments have been, thankfully, quite positive and encouraging. A big thanks to the HN community for playing with this game and for offering your feedback!
