CV2R Simon Claus Tournament 2019

The CV2R Simon Claus Tournament is a once-a-year casual tournament held in December by the CV2R community. The tournament consists of 2 qualifier rounds followed by a double-elimination bracket for the top 8 finishers in qualifiers.

• Scoring
  • Points earned per qualifier round are equal a racer's rank in that round subtracted from the total number of racers in that round, plus 1. For example, if you ranked 4th in a qualifier with 12 racers, you'd earn 9 points.
  • Skipping a qualifier round gives a racer zero points for that round.
  • Final qualifier ranking is determined by summing points scored in each qualifier round.
  • Highest final qualifier score gets the best seeding.
  • Tie Breakers (in order)
    1. Head-to-head record through qualifiers on same seed
    2. Average rank across all seeds
    3. Average time across all seeds
