XRPL Trust-Gated Liquidity Corridors (TGLC)

Overview

TGLC is a capital-efficient, compliance-first platform built on the XRP Ledger (XRPL). It enables regulated institutions (banks) and their corporate clients (principals) to securely access short-term cross-border liquidity through AI-assisted delegation, reducing the need for pre-funded balances while preserving privacy and regulatory compliance.

AI agents act as delegated representatives, authorised to request liquidity on behalf of businesses under strict pre-approved limits. All actions are auditable, automated, and enforceable through smart escrow contracts.

Platform Capabilities

This repository implements the core infrastructure to enable:

  • Credential Management – Banks issue and revoke corridor-specific credentials.
  • AI Agent Interaction – Non-human agents request liquidity under pre-approved limits.
  • Proof Verification – Validate off-chain performance proofs to assess risk or reduce collateral.
  • Smart Escrow Execution – Automatic release or clawback of funds based on validated proofs.
  • User Dashboards – Interfaces for principals, banks, and corridor operators.
  • Corridor Administration – Configurable limits, staking requirements, and business rules.

Key Actors

Role Responsibility
Bank / Issuer Provides liquidity, issues revocable credentials (CORRIDOR_ELIGIBLE), monitors compliance
Principal / Business Stakes partial capital in escrow; delegates AI agents to request liquidity
AI Agent Non-human DID representing the business; operates within limits; cannot hold capital
Verifier / Corridor Operator Validates performance proofs and triggers escrow logic without accessing sensitive identity data

Workflow

  1. Credential Issuance
Banks issue revocable, non-transferable tokens to principals for specific liquidity corridors.

  2. Capital Stake
Businesses lock a partial stake in escrow (e.g., 30%), ensuring commitment regardless of historical performance.

  3. Performance Proof
AI agents submit proof of past successful settlements. Good performance may reduce rates or collateral but cannot bypass stake requirements.

  4. Escrow Execution
Smart escrow releases liquidity upon validation or claws back funds if thresholds are unmet.

   management verified off-chain

### How it works:

- **Principal / Business** locks partial capital in escrow.
- **AI Agent** acts as a delegate, submitting requests within pre-approved limits.
- **Bank / Issuer** validates credentials, checks proofs, and triggers **smart escrow** for release or clawback.
- **Off-chain performance proofs** are verified without revealing sensitive identity data.

## Advantages Over Traditional Systems

| Advantage | Description |
| -------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Capital Efficiency** | Partial collateral reduces idle foreign account balances |
| **Faster Settlement** | Automated escrow enables near-instant liquidity release |
| **Lower Operational Risk** | Automated verification and clawback reduce manual errors |
| **Privacy & Compliance** | Identity and performance data are corridor-specific, time-limited, and stored off-chain |
| **Scalable Delegation** | AI agents can safely manage multiple corridors within defined limits |

## Why TGLC?

Traditional cross-border liquidity systems are **slow, capital-heavy, and manual**. TGLC leverages XRPL to offer:

- **Decentralised identifiers (DIDs)** and credential tokens for verified access
- **Trust lines and smart escrow** for conditional liquidity
- **Automated, compliance-aware execution** without exposing sensitive data
- **AI-assisted delegation** to reduce manual workflow while maintaining regulatory safety

---

## Demo Highlights

- Issuer creates a credential token for a principal
- AI agent requests liquidity on behalf of the business
- Performance proof is validated off-chain
- Smart escrow releases funds or executes clawback automatically

---

## Key Takeaway

TGLC delivers a **programmable, capital-efficient, and privacy-preserving liquidity framework**. Banks provide liquidity, businesses delegate through AI agents, and the platform ensures **trust, compliance, and automated execution**—all powered by XRPL.
