Hey you two! This would be the first version for the new workflows that I just rolled out to the organization.

Feedback is always welcome, feel free to take a look and give feedback!

Brief overview:

  • tests on all PRs and main
  • automatic bump PR will be created if you merge something non-workflow related into main
  • on merge of that PR, the bot will open a PR against zed-industries/extensions

Thanks!

Thanks a lot for the revised workflows. Tests by itself is a super addition to enforce good formatting and linting. The other two are good QoL improvements, especially the auto-creation of PR on zed-industries/extensions.

Now I'll have to remind myself to label PRs :)

Might not even need to if I understand you correctly - the bump is (currently) always created, but you can change the bump type by labelling the bump PR (or technically any other PR right now) to change this.

Chose this way because it helps generally with other extensions (and is probably a good reminder that there might be changes sitting around that weren't yet published), but happy to iterate on that should it become too noisy

Very nice! Both the tests and autobump are clear wins in my mind. I don't know anything about Zeds pipelines but I trust your judgement that it's all set up correctly 💯
