Summary of Changes

Hello @hiworldwzj, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request enhances the Req object by incorporating a mechanism to track and log the processing time of individual requests. By adding a recv_time timestamp upon request creation and a dedicated print_time_log method, the changes aim to provide better visibility into request lifecycle durations, which is crucial for debugging performance issues and understanding system latencies.

Highlights

  • Request Timing: Introduced a new recv_time attribute to the Req object to record the exact moment a request is received, facilitating time-based debugging.
  • Logging Utility: Added a print_time_log method to the Req class, allowing for easy logging of the elapsed time since recv_time for any given request, along with custom log information.
  • Logger Integration: Integrated the init_logger utility to provide structured logging for the newly added time-tracking features.

Code Review

This pull request adds functionality to log the processing time of requests for debugging purposes. A recv_time timestamp is added to the Req object upon initialization, and a new method print_time_log is introduced to log the elapsed time. My review includes a suggestion to improve the new logging method by using the appropriate log level for debugging and enhancing the log message format for better readability.

For debugging purposes, it's better to use logger.debug instead of logger.info. This allows for more granular control over log verbosity in different environments. Additionally, formatting the time to a fixed number of decimal places improves readability, and the explicit return statement is unnecessary in Python for a function that doesn't return a value.

Suggested change
def print_time_log(self, log_info: str):
logger.info(f"req_id: {self.request_id} cost_time {time.time() - self.recv_time} s log_info: {log_info}")
return
def print_time_log(self, log_info: str):
logger.debug(f"req_id: {self.request_id} cost_time {time.time() - self.recv_time:.4f}s log_info: {log_info}")
