Mod compatibility and integration

Darion Spaargaren edited this page Dec 24, 2023 · 1 revision

Forgero is generally compatible with most mods out there, as it does not try to mess with vanilla behaviour by default. Forgero tries to keep the changes made to Minecraft's codebase only applicable to content added by Forgero.

If you find issues with other mods when using Forgero, please open an issue here on GitHub! Forgero aims to be compatible with just about everything.

Content integration

Mythic Metals

Most metals from mythic metals are included in the compatibility, but needs reworking to include proper stats.

Redstone ingots

Adds redstone materials for tools

Better end (WIP, Joris)

Better nether

Metals and their respective tools are included

Mod integrations

Forgero also integrates with mods that change gameplay elements of Minecraft, to better take advantage of the properties available on tools.

Better combat

Forgero integrates its different types of schematics with Better combat

LambDynLights

Equipment made with materials that have emissive properties (Glowstone) will light up dynamically with the help of LambDynLights!

Patchouli

Forgero has a guidebook which can help you get get started with Forgero, as it covers what you need to get started as well as more extensive info about the content available in the mod.
