We have been using pIO since the beginning (setup is very easy if libraries are defined in pIO files). Building and uploading from within VScode.
Also, we have added nighttime brightness settings (also configurable via website or API). The delay triggers nighttime brightness after sunset and daytime brightness before sunrise. We wanted the clock to illuminate the hallway a bit, but still wanted to go to sleep after visiting the facilities... So minimum brightness works for us during the night.
